It is one of over 100 naturally-occurring cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant and is among the most thoroughly researched alongside THC. Cannabinoids are chemical compounds that occur naturally in the human body and actively interact with cannabinoid receptors located throughout the human body.

How is CBD different from marijuana?

While CBD is a naturally-occurring component of marijuana, it does not cause a "high" like some may think. The CBD we offer is derived directly from the hemp plant, a cousin of the marijuana plant. Industrial hemp is defined by US law as cannabis having 0.3% or less delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) content by dry weight.

What is the difference between broad- and full-spectrum CBD?

If an extract is full-spectrum, this means it contains all phytochemicals naturally found in the plant, including CBD, trace cannabinoids, terpenes, and essential oils. Full-spectrum extracts from hemp also come with a negligible THC content —below 0.3%. Every ULIXY product utilizes a full-spectrum blend.

What dosage should I take?
